All of the pupils in KPNS joined together to plant sunflowers in a gesture of support for Ukraine….  

The Junior/Senior Infant room went on a school tour recently to Causey Farm.  Despite a sprinkle of rain, the children had a wonderful day exploring the farm, learning about the animals and blowing gigantic bubbles!  They enjoyed a hayride,  hiking through the forest and playing fun games with their friends!

The children in 1st, 2nd & 3rd classes had a fabulous, fun and activity filled day at The Navan Adventure Centre!

4th, 5th & 6th classes went on a School tour to Bay Sports in Athlone.  The children had a fantastic day out!

Kells Parochial NS hosted an open day for all new students joining the school in September, 2022.  The pupils in 4th, 5th & 6th class did a wonderful job of making presentations and giving school tours to parents and children.  We look forward to welcoming all students to our school in September.

All of the students in KPNS joined together in a gesture of support for Ukraine and planted sunflower seeds.  We will watch them grow in the lovely containers placed on the side of the school building next the flower garden.  Well done everybody! Room 2 Room 1

    Room 3 have been learning about river systems this school term. Third class pupils in room 3 researched Irish and international rivers and created and presented their fantastic work to the class  

Pupils in Room 3 having great fun learning how shadows form and about opaque and transparent materials 

  Third class pupils in Room 3 each gave a presentation to the class on their  ” My Favourite Animal ” project .        

Historic Tour of Kells – Room 1 The students in  Room 1 visited The Kells Heritage Center, the cultural hub of Kells and enjoyed an historic tour of Kells followed by a short break in the play ground.  It was an all around educational and enjoyable day for all.
